This is my Go-To Protein Smoothie... I can add any of our Protein Powder flavours for a new twist, but often I find simple is best.
I use Almond Milk or Water in my smoothies...
If you're using our Whey Protein blends, it's so creamy I just use water. I find there's no need to use any kind of milk as it's so creamy withit - If you don't believe me... try it, I promise you won't be disappointed!!
However, if you're using a Plant Based Protein you may like to add more creaminess, simply use your milk of choice like almond milk or oat milk.
Also this recipe is great as you can keep it nice and simple or get creative and add all your favourite additions... try adding some Baby Spinach, Avocado, Berries, Rolled Oats or add some superfoods like Maca Powder, Chia Seeds or our Organic Super Greens!
When I have a smoothie, it's almost always as a meal replacement so I need that equal balance of high protein, carbs and good fats to ensure it keeps me feeling satisfied :)
I N G R E D I E N T S
1 Cup Water or Milk of Choice eg: Cows, Almond, Oat
1 serve At Health Protein Powder ( works for any flavour! )
1.5 Frozen Bananas ( if using regular banana, add lots of Ice !! )
1 Tbsp Nut Butter (we love Pic's or Mayvers)
H O W T O M A K E
Blend all ingredients in a high powered blender until smooth and enjoy. You can get creative with toppings.... or forgot them altogether and keep it simple :)
